This competition is in addition to the
Sunday TRWC Lap Challenge. It is a lap time competiton,
but set up in a totally different way. Points for this challenge
are accumulated over a month, and at the end of the month, TRWC points
will be awarded to the top scorers.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, I'm
going to have to add a rule. Please do not use more than one
avatar name on my boards on the same day. I don't want to see my
list with one person on there more than one time. This can only
be a griefing mechanism, and when I know it's happening, I'm going to
have to act against it. From here forward, if I see more than one
name on the boards for the same person, both names will go on my ignore
list for a period of one month. If you want to use a
2nd identity, that's your business. However, I do not want you
using newbies to push other people off the board before I can get their
scores. It's just rude, unnecessary, and does you no good in the
eyes of the racing
community.

So how does this work? Essentially, your
status in this competition is increased by breaking or meeting a track
record at one of the TRWC events. Since the buggy/bike bug is
fixed, we can now look for records on tracks at unhosted
events as well as hosted ones. Look for gloree's
daily tracks at Golden Sands and Grass Valley, tracks at Dune Valley
during gloree's events on Monday night,
and TRWC Lap challenge tracks, usually at Golden Sands, Grass Valley on Fridays from 4-6 pm est and Sundays noon
- 6 pm eastern.
How do you transfer this competiton
to TRWC? At the end of the calendar month, top ToT racer will receive 30 points to TRWC.
2nd place, 25 points; 3rd place, 20 points; 4th place 15 points;
5th place 10 points or to any who score at least 30.
Mile a Minute Award: To anyone scoring at
least 30. This means you broke a mile a minute on at least 10
tracks in one month. First time Mile A Minute winners will receive a
t-shirt. Any lappers who did not place in the top 5 but score at
least 30 will get 10 TRWC points any month they accomplish this. Mile a
Minute Award begins May 2006.
How do you score in ToT
(Tournament of Times)? We have to rank you by points, but
please don't confuse these points with TRWC points. Since the
buggy/bike bug is fixed, we can now look for records on tracks at unhosted events as well as hosted ones. .
A sign in Golden Sands and possibly at other tracks will display
current track record holder, their time, and the time needed to hit 60
mph.
