| If I become premium,
what does that do for me? Premium members can save
favorite spots, summon friends, host events, start clubs, use voice,
engage in trades, and become designers. They can also join more
clubs and skill up to higher levels. Find out more about

do
I become Premium? Click your nametag to view your
profile, and then click UPGRADE NOW. You can also click this link.
Premium
membership costs $9.95 once for life. There are also
other options that will provide some starter TBux along with your
membership. |
| How do you play this
game? There is a community where you can meet up with
your old friends and make new ones. You can hang out with your
friends and family here and do cool things together. You can
chat, dance,
listen to music, view videos, play games, race vehicles, explore, have
pets, play paintball. You may also build and decorate your own spaces
and customize your own look. There are creative opportunities as
well such as hosting events and games, writing stories and quests,
designing clothing, vehicles, and decor items. |
| What is skilling up? When you play the game, you will engage in There activities such as socialization, riding boards, buggies, bikes, boats, training dogs, using paintguns, helping new members. There are 16 different skills with five levels each. Each time you reach a new level you get a gift. Basic members can only reach the casual and avid levels. |
| How do I check my email? Your Theremail is the email account you used to sign up for the service. Check it the way you do your normal email. |
| How can I find people to
meet? Click
Activities> Find
Activities to find events to attend. Check
your map
for heavily populated areas and go there. Talk to
people. Join their clubs. Put them on your buddy
list. There is best when shared with friends old and new.
When you are new, the Island Guides and Greeters will
be inviting you to some mixer events to learn about There and to meet
other members. Click here to find a list of the upcoming
events. |
| How can I find new
clothes? The Welcome Walkway tutorial will provide you
with a smiley Tee-shirt. There are also mannequins you can click
on in the Market Place on the Walkway to get a free jacket and pants.
There are Try-It machines on Zona,
Fisher,
and Paiz
Islands that will give you clothes and hairstyles
to try for four hours at a time. You may also try items from auctions
for five minutes at a time. In addition, when you level
up in some skills, you will get a gift of clothing. Some There
clubs such as Right
Foot
Questing have uniforms you can win by participating.
Other clubs such as Party
Lights and Fun
by
Design occasionally have prizes for club participants. |
| How
do
I find the rest of the world? If you are on the Welcome
Walkway docks, the easiest way is to walk to the end of the dock and
exit into the There islands. You will also get some favorite
places to teleport to. To find those, click Places>Go
to
a Favorite and choose one of the places on the
list. You will get more favorites as you spend more time in
There. You can also navigate using your There Map.

addition, new members will be invited to welcoming events in various
places around There. You can find a list of our upcoming
events

| How
do
I return to the Welcome Area? You can return to the
last place you were before a teleport by clicking Places>Undo Last
Teleport. If you have teleported to a few places since you
were at your welcome area, ask an Island Guide or Greeter to help you
return. After you have spent some time in There, you may be
unable to return to the Welcome Walkway, but an Island Guide or Greeter
can assist you with any questions. |
| How
do
I become a designer? Designers in There are premium
members. You will need some kind of graphics program such as
Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro. There is a TBux fee for submitting
designs, but it is usually recovered when items are sold for profit in

| Where
is
my house? There has many opportunities for housing, but
a home for each avatar is not provided. Luckily, since our
avatars have no need for sleep and you carry your inventory on your
avatar, you can function very well in There without a house. When you
decide to settle in, you can decide among a traditional There house, a
portazone lot, or a neighborhood lot. Find out more about real

| What
are
Greeters and Island Guides? Greeters are There
Employees whose main task is to welcome new members and facilitate the
First Visit Program. They can be identified by a There Logo in
their nametags. Island Guides are volunteers in the First Visit Program
who spend some of there time in There welcoming new members. They
can be identified by a golden star in their nametag. Find out how to become an Island
